Simon Mackie has been a regular contributor to underground comics for many years contributing to comics in the U.K, Holland and the U.S.A.. For a number of years he lived and worked in Japan where he found himself heavily influenced the Ukiyoe prints of Hiroshige.

He has exhibited in London and Tokyo.

Glad to see ya too Simon, this site seems to be cool, liking the pics from Japan where did you go, how long were you in Japan for, oh yeah and did you get my email, thanks for telling me about the site, and I like Art work on your slide show very original I and sense of identity

Most of my Temples and Pulses are stored at my parents house (along with about 10,000 other comics). It's always nice to draw them out from time to time and have a glance at the fine body of work evident in the old days.

It's nice to see so many Temple members have gone on to other creative and artistic projects (Neill Camerons art can be seen in a graphic novel adaption of Macbeth. And some of Laura Wattons stuff can be found in Waterstones!)
