Hi people,

I've managed to compile a collection of my strips from ROK under the title "Tales from my Mindverse", the name I wanted to try and collect the creator tool strips under as a series on the Rokcomics site.

Anyway, there's a CBR and a PDF up on here. http://kerchow.webs.com/phonetoons.htm

Just wondering if anyone can run a test for me and let me know if it works, for some reason the PDF isn't as good quality as the CBR, although it is a bigger file, gawd knows why.

Oh, they're about 9-10 Mb by the way.

Cheers,
Paul.

Ah yes, that 3d work, been a bit lax on that lately, must find the time. Actually got more than a few other scripts that may be completed in a more traditional manner at the mo, will have to see what I manage. Going to upload a slightly updated version of Mindverse soon, as John Freeman has written a little intro for me that I will insert somehow, thanks very much John. Oh, and good luck on the MA Dave.

Perhaps once you've mastered that 3d work, you could redraw the characters completely in your own style (or send the scripts to another artist, with the Rok Creator versions a a rough guideline). That might make them more marketable when sending them out to small press publishers, as there's a lot of terrific characters there that could certainly be expanded upon.

Cheers for having a look Dave, things seem to workish, so maybe I should start whoring it out on a few website thingys. I basically wanted to put this lot together because it seemed like a shame to let some of those characters vanish into obscurity without attempting to save them. Saying that, I suppose they could turn up elsewhere one day...

A lot of great stuff there, Paul! Such hugely inventive use of the Rok Comics creator. Quite a few strips there that I hadn't seen before - the 'Jeff, Warrior Princess' gag had me chuckle with great mirth. I look forward to reading the rest of the PDF when I get home tonight.

The quality issues could be due to Rok comic format being at 72 DPI, which can make for some deterioration when shown in a PDF (that's my guess anyway). Didn't look too bad, anyway.

Anyway, nice work matey! I look forward to seeing you slowly take over the world (or the nearest pub) once your 3d experimentation reaches its bippetybopperty (couldn't think of the right word, so I put a random one in instead. But I'm sure you know what I mean...)
