Tabella Publishing say they’re interested in a graphic novel idea I sent them. However, before making a final decision, they need to see a sample. I only managed a year at art school studying graphic design before getting bored with it. On the other hand, back in the 80’s I did once produce a single page strip for the Buster comic, (or was it Whizzer & Chips, I can’t recall), drawn – would you believe – on an old 8-bit Amstrad PCW that was marketed as a word processor! However, I haven’t done any since and concentrated on my writing. I asked a friend of mine, Martin Baines, to do the artwork but he had to beg off due to other commitments and I’m just wondering if you’d be interested. The image on your profile look like the style I’m after. If published Tabella are offering a standard 10% royalty contract and this would be split between us. Tabella also say they’ll be using Amazon and Waterstones as an outlet. On top of this, John Freeman says he’ll promote it on “Down the Tubes.” Finally, we could also promote it through a blog, Twitter and Facebook.

Welcome aboard, Ness!
Cheers for all the info you gave me earlier on Concept Art. Much appreciated.
If you're going to BICS, I hope you have a good time (I may make it along one year, though Bristol's just that little bit closer).
