Great work as ever John 'D and Congratulations Dave on passing the MA. I'll pass on more comments once i've had a chance to digest what looks at a glance to be another monster issue.
John, i'm guessing the two 'rars i sent to the Templegoogle adress got lost in cyberspace ? If so please let me know as soon as and i'll get to sending in a more traditional manner (ie several emails)
Damn fine work there, John! Thanks for doing all the extra Insomnia embellishments. If I get the chance, I may have a few more 'name correction' pages to send you mid-week.
The only mistake I've noticed so far is the 'Down the tubes' web address on all the Insomnia reviews is wrong (on pages 67, 72 and 82, I think) - it should be www.downthetubescomics.blogspot.com rather than 'www.downthetubes.blogspot.com (An easy mistake to make...many a time I've headed across to the wrong site, to read about someones train excursions).
I'll let you know if I notice anything else.
The Insomnia cover looks great, by the way. Thanks for all your hard work.
ps. I've just had my dissertation comments back from the markers. My favourites were 'Dave has just the right juvenile mind that appeals to children' and 'his imagination is staggeringly bizarre'.
Hey John, Just emailed over a tweak to my entry after having a flick through the rough, and cor blimey, is that one mighty tome or what? Going to take me an age to get through it all, so far I'm just feeling ashamed, so well done to everybody. So Dave, we going to see more childrens work from you and your juvenile mind in the future?
Nothing to feel ashamed about, Paul...you're the only member who managed to squeeze a farting monk into their contribution.
A lot of my comic projects are child-orientated at the moment, though I'm also working on quite a few Futureshock style projects with Stu Giddings and Dave Thomson (plus there's a few things in the works with Tony Suleri).
My main aim is to finish off my Jellybean novel, then launch straight in to a different one (also for kids, possibly based on the No Beard comic series I've been working on with Ian Alexander).
Another thing I recall noticing is that Adam Grose's contact website on the contents page is listed as 'Clownpress.com' which no longer exists - it's now something like 'adamgrose.com' (whatever's on the front cover of his contribution is the correct one).
Excellent issue... had a quikie scan.. will do a proper read through tonight. Yes, Dave's right... website is www.adamgrose.com as clown press one is no longer... now incorporated into my website. ;) congrates on the MA... what did you do?
