Hello folks,

finally got round to checking out the new Myebook site (http://www.myebook.com/index.php) and I think it's probably the perfect place to exhibit our work, perhaps running alongside the Temple PDF (which I think would still be needed for those who like to download and keep the work, as I couldn't find a download option on the site, though I may have just missed it).

Anyone else have any thoughts on the subject? If you're in favour, I'll see if I can convert the Temple Digital issue 0, whilst John's gearing up for issue 1.

Also wowio (another online publishing group) will soon be going worldwide, and might be worth investigating soon.

Sounds like a good idea to me, so does Wowio, I've noticed a fair few people in the US make use of that.

Does anyone else find the books on the site unreadable due to graphics interface?

I've had a bit of a play around with the Myebook, and found it a bit awkward to use at the moment, due to lack of information (such as preferable DPI and page size). I did upload a few of the Temple pages, but they all looked far too small on it, so I guess I won't be conventing the present Showcase any time soon.

Perhaps after the next issue (or maybe in time for the next issue?) we should switch to members contributions being at 300 dpi and A4 in size, so that the Showcase is future-proofed? It's an easy enough job to shrink the pages down for the PDF, but expanding the size without losing quality never quite works out.
